PERFORMANCE REVIEWS
"Louise is the star of the second act, and Zoey Reese is absolutely fabulous. She reminds me of a young Anne Hathaway with her engaging humility. She delivers a blend of modesty and confidence in the role, seeing the truth in the madness around her and gently nudging her fellows into awareness. Part of Reese's charm in this role is casting—she clearly has the right personality—but certainly a good portion is old fashioned talent, which usually comes with abundant spoonfuls of hard work."

"The production is superb in every respect, and the direction gives free rein to the talents of the two able and experienced sparring partners. Bob Jesser as the heavy-set, middle-aged college professor John, and Zoey Reese, as Carol, his slender, young, gender-uncertain student. Depicting an in-depth, complex role is always a difficult challenge for an actor, but the greater challenge is showing a character in the process of changing. This, however, is the feat that both of these two fine actors achieve."

"And once Peter arrives, things start to get interesting. Zoey Reese wraps herself into the part without end, giving us a Peter Pan we can believe in. If crowing is a measure of authenticity, Reese’s marks are textbook. She brings high energy to every placement of her feet and strong vocals to songs. Most remarkable are Reese’s flying acrobatics. At one point in the back-and-forth journey to Neverland, she gets up to an incredible speed!"

"Reese captures Emily's sense of wonder and her eagerness to fill herself with life. It's a charming performance. Kudos to the production team and the cast. They've delivered the best Our Town I've seen."

"I was particularly moved by Reese's performance. Having seen the show on Broadway, I felt she was better than the young woman who created the role. Reese gave Beth a subtle beauty, and wonderfully understated characterization. Others were very good, but Reese was a standout."

"Reese is the best thing in it. If she was performing this role on Broadway, she would have snagged a Tony nomination. What a great performance, and if I had more time, I'd go back to see her again."
